Information on the causes and diagnosis of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is presented in an interactive program-after reading a section of material, a question needs to be answered correctly to move on to the next section.

The following program is from an online physician continuing medical education (CME) course that expired in March 2006. The course was developed by the Madison Institute of Medicine and accredited by the University of Wisconsin Medical School Office of Continuing Medical Education. In the future, we hope to update and expand this course to include sections on the treatment of PTSD. Although no longer available for CME credits, we are pleased to retain the program for your use.
